Get The “F” Out

Having explored and discussed music, football, gaming and experience, we want to wrap up this mini series, and other similar posts, by discussing ”
domingo.com/willisdomingo/willis_domingo.htm”>Professional Wrestling“; the “sports entertainment” that gripped us for many years, until our eventual transition to football during the 2002/03 season, when we witnessed Arsenal surrender the title to United, in the final days, losing to Leeds, and drawing against Bolton. Before that time, we would spend much time download matches from online sources; borrowing old VHS tapes from friends; reading up on results and watching rebroadcasts after school; and finally, staying up into and through the night so that we might watch the Live PPV. Generally, the WWF was believable, with many debating for the longest time, whether or not it was real, until Channel 5 broke the spell. Although a few tuned out, some still followed it, even if with less enthusiasm, and yet, as highlighted, Mankind falling off that cage still hurt himself; Shawn Michaels hitting his back across that casket definitely injuring himself, and cynicism aside, Sid Vicious/Justice snapping his tarsal most certainly broke his bone! Even if they are entertainers, the damages they incurred were real, adding another dimension of depth to their high flying, risk-taking showcasing, as epitomised by the Hardy Boys. In this post, we want to review some of our favourite matches, worst moments, best rivalries, top athletes and other miscellaneous reminiscences which allow us to relive this moment before we let it die:
